Arengario

When in Monza, one cannot fail to visit the ancient Town Hall (Palazzo Comunale), known as the Arengario (from the Latin arengarius, meaning a place for gatherings) and visually recognisable by its wide arcade. Erected towards the end of the 13th century, it is located in the heart of the city, almost directly adjacent to the Duomo of Monza on the edge of the historic market square.
